Reprise is an invitation-only event photo and video service operated by Bruno Pais. It brings a group's selected photos and videos, reactions and comments into one shared album.

What we store and why

We store your display name, event membership, selected photos and videos (including metadata contained in the original file), resized viewing copies, thumbnails, reactions, comments, member blocks, reports, and random session and member identifiers. We use this data only to provide and protect your private album. The public App Store version does not analyse faces or create face representations. Existing classifications in an event remain visible to its members, subject to the same access and blocking controls. Photos and videos are not used to train models.

Who can see your memories

Every current and future invited member of your event can view its shared memories including reactions and comments. The organiser manages invitations and can remove members, comments or memories. Members can report photos, videos or comments and block another member. Only upload photos and videos you have permission to share. Explicit, abusive or illegal content is not allowed.

Terms of Use and community safety

By joining or creating an event, you agree to the Reprise Terms of Use. There is no tolerance for objectionable content, illegal content, harassment, threats, bullying, or abusive users. Do not upload content you do not have permission to share. We filter known abusive language, review reports within 24 hours where possible, remove violating content, and may suspend or remove abusive members. Use the in-app Report controls for photos, videos and comments, and Block and report for members.

Storage and service providers

Uploads travel over HTTPS to our Railway-hosted service, configured in Amsterdam. Service operators and infrastructure providers may process data needed to operate and support the app. Apple distributes the app and handles its own diagnostics under Apple's policies. We do not sell your photos or videos or use them for advertising.

Optional Google Drive exports

Where available, you can choose to copy selected original photos and videos to your Google Drive. Google is an optional export destination and is not required to use Reprise. We request only Google's drive.file permission, covering files created through Reprise or explicitly selected with Google's picker. We do not request access to your entire Drive, list unrelated files, or delete your Drive copies.

To complete an export while your phone is closed, our server temporarily stores encrypted Google authorization tokens, the destination folder identifier, transfer progress and file checksums. We use a keyed identifier to coordinate simultaneous exports to the same Google account. We use Google data only to provide this export, not for advertising or model training. Reprise's use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

You can cancel an export in Reprise or revoke access through your Google Account. Job credentials are cleared when an export completes, is cancelled or expires. We request revocation of the Google grant after all exports using it have stopped; failed revocation requests are retried. Files already copied remain in your Drive, under your Google account's storage, sharing and deletion settings, even after the occasion expires.

Exports must start before the occasion expires. Album access still ends at the normal deadline. Only originals needed by an already authorized, unfinished export may be retained for up to 24 additional hours after expiry, and each export has a maximum 24-hour lifetime from creation. An authenticated export receipt may remain for up to 24 hours after the expired occasion is removed to show completion and the destination, without reopening album access. Explicit memory, membership or event deletion takes precedence over the export.

Deletion and your choices

New occasions created with a celebration date expire at the end of the 30th day after that date, in the selected celebration timezone. Older occasions without a celebration date keep their existing deadline (30 days after creation, plus any explicitly requested extension). Access stops at expiry and the server removes the event's stored memories, reactions, comments, reports and membership data in its cleanup cycle. You can delete your own uploads and comments sooner; the organiser can delete any comment, photo, video or the entire event. Invited members can use Delete my membership in Our group to delete their membership, uploads, comments and reactions for that occasion. Organisers can use Delete event. These actions do not delete your memberships in other occasions or photos uploaded by other people. You can view the group without contributing photos or videos. Contact us for other deletion requests. Include the event name and enough detail to locate your memories; we may need to verify the request.

The app keeps session credentials and cached event data on your device and copies selected photos and videos into a temporary upload queue. Leaving the device session clears that membership’s session and pending uploads; other saved occasions remain. Removing saved access from a device does not delete the server membership. Deletion from the service cannot remove copies or screenshots that other members have already kept.

Verified accounts

Email sign-in uses Supabase. Accounts store a verified identifier and email, and restore only memberships you explicitly link. Names and face profiles never establish account identity. Linking replaces previous device credentials and organiser recovery codes. Seven-day sessions can be revoked in Your account.

Self-declared celebration roles are separate from permissions. In-app suggestions use linked occasion types without copying guests or memories. Sign-in email is not used for marketing. Internal account activity records expire after 90 days and contain no email addresses, phone numbers, photos or face embeddings.

Delete your account in Your account. The confirmation explains that this deletes occasions you organise, everyone’s memories within them, and your contributions to other occasions. Removing access from a phone remains separate.
